When there is still almost a year and a half to will celebrate the most important women’s golf tournament in the world, the ticketing progressing at a good pace
Golf fans eagerly await the celebration of the Solheim Cup, which will be held at Finca Cortesin in Spain on Sept. 18-24. So much so that the good pace of ticketing has allowed more than 10,000 ticket sales.
This significant number of tickets purchased, when there is almost a year and a half to go before the dispute the most important women’s golf tournament in the world, also has caused an important hotel reservations in the establishments closest to Finca Cortesin.
“We are very satisfied with the pace of ticketing for the Solheim Cup 2023, which has made us exceed 10,000 tickets sold, especially when there are still 17 months left to play the tournament. If we continue with this progression, we are convinced that we will achieve our objective of ‘sold out’ several months before its celebration”, declared Iñigo Aramburu, general manager of Deporte & Business, the company that organizes the event.
Likewise, the best-selling product to date is the “Season Ticket”, that allows access to the golf course from Monday to Sunday. This demonstrates the great interest of the people in everything surrounding this event and that they don’t want to miss anything, not even the training sessions”, concluded Aramburu.
Solheim Cup 2023 tickets prices go from €25, a tickets corresponding to the practice rounds (September 19, 20 and 21). The tickets for the Day 1, Friday September 22, have a price of €70; tickets to attend the Day 2, Saturday September 23, cost €80; and access for Sunday September 24, the Day 3, when the momentous individual matches are played, cost €99.
In addition to individual tickets and for each day of the tournament, there is also the possibility of acquiring two types of season tickets. The first, called “Season Ticket”, has a reduced price of €179 (previously it cost €199) and allows entry to the golf course from Monday to Sunday; and the second, more exclusive and called “Solheim Cup Pavilion Ticket”, has an amount of €499 and gives access to the golf course throughout the week and to the Solheim Cup Pavilion from Thursday to Sunday, an exclusive area where rest, follow the tournament on screens and enjoy a varied gastronomic offer.
