Unstoppable Ana Peláez with a new second place in South Africa

The Andalusian player is having a magnificent start of the season and already has the third position in the LET ranking for the Solheim Cup 2023 after repeating runner-up, this time in the Investec SA Women’s Open

Ana Peláez has starred in a brilliant South Africa´s tour, with two consecutive second places. First in the Joburg Ladies Open and then in the Investec SA Women’s Open, both belonging to the Ladies European Tour.

These results have allowed the player from Malaga to climb to third place in the LET ranking for the Solheim Cup 2023, overtaking the Belgian Manon de Roey and getting closer to the second classified, the Swedish Linn Grant. The ranking continues to be led by Sweden’s Maja Stark.

As for the world ranking that will make up the European team for the Solheim Cup, it has remained unchanged and continues to be led by Ireland’s Leona Maguire, closely followed by France’s Celine Boutier and England’s Charley Hull.

Allisen Corpuz rises on the American list

The rankings of both the LPGA and the world rankings, from which the U.S. team for the 2023 Solheim Cup will be drawn, have also had no major changes, except for the rise of Hawaii’s Allisen Corpuz, who has moved up to second in the world rankings behind leader Jessica Korda.

The other list, the LPGA, is still clearly dominated by Nelly Korda, ahead of Lexi Thompson.
